Ahh, the mayor of Portland OR Ted Wheeler has after ninety-seven or is it ninety-eight nights of utter malfeasance at long last condemned the anarchy in his streets. What brought about this sudden change? It would appear that the violence has finally visited his doorstep. And here I am thinking these were mostly peaceful protests with only isolated incidences of violence. Boy, how foolish of me that’s what I get for listening to the media. Similar to the mayor of Chicago his sentiments changed when the mobs he so happily waved away as just demonstrators turned on him. Ask some of the city council member of Seattle WA one of which is a socialist who found them in their neighborhoods. They were quick to find a need for the police then. Many of these democrat politicians are slow to realize that these criminals have no allegiance to them. They are part of the ruling class and as such would have to be replaced no matter how obsequious they are or have been. They are tainted, not sufficiently imbued with ideology of the future as they see it. They are no safer than the republicans they try to smear with this tripe about federal interference. If Joe Biden were to actually hold a real “campaign event” with supporters, he might find this out, but no Joe is supposedly “following the science”. As is Nancy Pelosi the esteemed Speaker of the House of Representatives who represents San Francisco. She was video- taped getting her hair done without a mask on Monday in direct violation of the city mandate that has closed all hair salons since March. She is constantly pillorying President Trump for not wearing a mask yet when she thinks no one is watching she does away with her mask. Naturally, in this she’s a victim. Hey Nancy, where’s the science? This is the same trait we see in other democrat governors and mayors. That imperious “do as I order not as I do” attitude. These edicts apply to you the “Huddled Masses” not to me. “Don’t you know who I am?” Let’s see, shall I name some of them? The governor of New York and his little brother from CNN plus the NYC mayor all without masks on in public. The mayor of Philadelphia eating inside a restaurant when that is not allowed. The mayor of Chicago getting her hair done against her own rules. The governor of Illinois flying his wife out of state during his own travel ban. The governor of Michigan getting her hair done when no one else is that privileged. I believe there are more. Am I the only one who sees’ a pattern here? The fiats put in place by these elites are only for you little people. Make no mistake all these, semi lawful, semi state constitutional measures put in place by mayors and governors are just the precursor to a much wider use of these powers in the future. Get over it and toe the line. In most cases they will be re-elected, and you get what you deserve. At least their hair will look good! They do have their priorities. Troubling?
