To paraphrase former President Ronald Reagan “there they go again.” The media, who would have you think they are all about “truth and justice” in all their coverage, but particularly when it comes to the Republican Party. They are nowhere to be seen when it comes to the Democrat Party. As I have said in a previous post, fact checking is some sort of parlor game the media plays only when they see fit. That game obviously is played strictly on Republican candidates. The duplicitous nature of their shameless hypocrisy was never more glaring than yesterday in Pittsburgh PA where Joe held a half-hearted campaign event in front of a about six reporters and no supporters. No supporters equals; no enthusiasm. I would hazard that this does not constitute campaigning in a swing state, but I digest. Here Joe Biden declared that “he would never stop fracking and had never said he would, no matter how many times Donald Trump lied about him.” This is demonstrably faults, and the media knows it, but once again they stood by silently. Allowing Joe to conjure up one appalling lie after another. On multiple occasions while on the debate stage during the primaries and on CNN’s Dana Bash show he emphatically stated that “there would be no place in his administration for fossil fuels including fracking”. This is one the main planks of The Green New Deal which he has endorsed. This along with open borders, free health care for illegal immigrants, and don’t forget he said he would put Beto O’Roake in charge of collecting all of our guns. So much for the Second Amendment. Is Biden trying to become Moderate Joe again? Remember this is all on tape. It’s out there for all to see, if you’re interested, but you won’t hear the media repeating it. This is the same Joe that said, and I quote “if elected I will be the most progressive president ever elected in this country”. Where is that much heralded fact checking machine again? Does that sound moderate to you? Well, Joe after repudiating fracking and essentially The Green New Deal in the process the left wing of your party is hanging out there in the wind. Let’s see what that does for your voter turn-out now that they know you can’t be counted on. Can you say 2016? Trump hatred will only get you so far. They hated Trump in 2016 and they still deserted Hillary. Even Hillary had more enthusiasm than you do. Now you’ve pulled the proverbial rug out from under their sacred Green New Deal. Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, Joe you’d better hope they really, really, really hate Trump, because it looks as if your strategy is beginning to unravel. This should trouble you!
